I remember Howdy Doody Time, Coke in return
bottles, 15 cent hamburgers, Studebakers, taps on shoes, and prayer in
school. I remember hairnets on waitresses, the twice a week milkman, the
ice-dock, F.W. Woolworth, and the Ten Commandments in school. I
remember commodities with good cheese, 10 cent a gallon gas, the one
room school house and a Christmas play in school with baby Jesus. I
remember so
meone washing our windshield,
Mighty Mouse, Bull Durham tobacco, no seat belts and teachers quoting
Scriptures. I remember two week Revivals, 10 day Vacation Bible Schools,
red Kool-aid and everything closed on Sunday. I remember looking ahead
instead of back but maybe they really were the GOOD OLD DAYS? All I'm
saying...Br. Larry
